Historic Old Town NIA

Historic Old Town Neighborhood Improvement Association is a group of neighborhood volunteers in Topeka, Kansas. We meet monthly and work toward a better place to live, from arguing our case at city hall to cleaning out choked-up gutters. Our neighborhood is bounded by Topeka Blvd., Summit Ave., 6th Ave., and 10th Ave. Our official membership is anyone one who lives or owns property in this area, but we welcome any and all!

July meeting date

Due to the upcoming Independence Day holiday, and various people's vacations, our next meeting scheduled for Thursday, July 5, is being rescheduled. Instead, we will meet the following Thursday, July 12. The time and place are the same as usual: 6:30 p.m. at Trinity Hall, 725 SW Buchanan.

I will ask Roseanna Haugen at HND to send out postcards notifying residents of the new date.

Everyone have a great 4th of July! Hope to see you the following week. We'll have some exciting stuff to talk about then.
